
Syngoniums are graceful, easygoing aroids native to the tropical forests of Central & South America. Their arrow-shaped leaves shift color with age 🌿 from fresh green to creamy, blush, bronze, or pink (depending on variety). In kokedama, they arch and softly trail, creating a full, sculptural look that suits shelves, tabletops, or hanging displays.
Signs to watch: Edges curling or crisping = too dry; yellowing on multiple newer leaves = too wet.
Rewrap/repot when:
Syngonium leaves change shape as the plant matures (juvenile to more lobed forms) — a living example of plant “shape-shifting.”
